Sales Manager Derma & Pharmacy NL
POSITION
As a Sales manager you wille be responsible for leading the Derma and Pharmacy Sales function in the Netherlands, with a strong focus on driving sustainable growth for brands such as Eucerin and Hansaplast. The role combines strategic account management, customer marketing, and commercial leadership, while managing and developing the local Sales & Field team. A key focus lies in strengthening customer relationships, delivering category growth, and executing commercial strategies in line with the wider European and global objectives of Beiersdorf. You will report directly to Robert Hasselman, Business Unit Head Derma & Health Care Benelux.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Expand customer relationships by continuously proposing solutions that meet customer’s objectives in line with the sales strategy of Beiersdorf ;
- Drive an efficient and impactful customer segmentation strategy;
- Lead and develop the NL Sales & Field team (6 FTE) in line with the company’s principles;
- Develop and execute a sales and customer-marketing, annual, medium- and long-term plan that ensures the delivery of brand, category, and customer objectives at the customer;
- Develop customer marketing plan ensuring efficient and excellent execution at the retailer
- Monitor and evaluate variance to plan and propose counter measures ensuring their effective implementation;
- Negotiate annual conditions with customers based on Pay for Performance principle;
- Prepare and implement the customer promotion plan ensuring alignment with the objectives of the sales plan;
- Deliver the agreed objectives within the annual customer plans for product distribution and display at the POS, maximizing the accessibility of Beiersdorf products to the consumer;
- Develop and execute action plans to meet our targets;
- Be an active part of the Derma BNL Management Team and work closely together with other functions to identify and implement cross-brand and cross-country synergies;
- Execute the commercial strategy and plans according to annual business plan and in line with our global and European guidelines.
PROFILE CANDIDATE
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Master’s degree in business administration or similar;
- Relevant years of experience in commercial roles, including several years in Account Management and Field Team Management;
- General sales expertise (negotiations, customer management);
- Deep knowledge of the FMCG sector, preferably the Derma market;
- Fluent in Dutch & English.
