MARKETING DIRECTOR BENELUX
POSITION
The Marketing Director Benelux, part of the local Management Team, is responsible for providing marketing leadership to the team and entire Benelux organisation. Through speed, teamwork and focus, our marketing plans will enable us to win market share and ensure that every consumer in Belgium, Netherlands and Luxembourg enjoys our premium chocolate. The Marketing team consists of 4 direct reports: 2 Senior Brand manager, 1 Brand Manager en 1 marketing intern. You will report to the Country Director, Loïc Labeeu.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Part of local management team: help to define our local vision & strategic direction, achieve consistent results, build our people & culture;
- Marketing Strategy: lead the development and execution of our growth plans focused on building brand awareness, equity, penetration and market share;
- Portfolio: lead Benelux portfolio strategy focused on innovations, price pack architecture and de-complexity agenda;
- Mental Availability: build effective reach for our key franchises by overseeing the media & advertising strategy;
- Physical Availability: develop shopper growth platforms executed 360. Ensure best in class in-store POSM in line with brand guidance;
- Analysis: continuously analyse performance, brand health, competitors and activation effectiveness;
- Budget Ownership: responsible to manage Benelux marketing & advertising budgets. Accountable for capital allocation choices;
- Development: develop the marketing skills and capabilities of the team;
- Internal stakeholders: help to build a high performing commercial organisation (Marketing, Sales, Category, Trade Marketing), connect with International Marketing;
- External stakeholders: Retailers, Media Agencies, Creative Agencies, Market Research Agencies, PR.
PROFILE CANDIDATE
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- University Degree in Marketing (master);
- Relevant marketing experience in an FMCG environment. Knowledge of Benelux retail landscape are a plus;
- Fluent in English (Dutch / French beneficial);
- Experience in leading a team;
- Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (PPT, Word, Excel).
