For the commercial excellence division of Henkel Consumer brands we are currently looking for a:

                                                                                                             CATEGORY MANAGER


As Category Manager, you’ll join the Commercial Excellence team. You’ll support the newly formed Consumer Brands division in the field of Category Management and work with leading brands such as Witte Reus, Syoss and Schwarzkopf within FMCG. You will be reporting directly to Stefanie Kusters (Head of Commercial Excellence).


  • You develop, implement and monitor assortment and shelf strategy for the assigned categories and key retailers;
  • You analyze the category/market and its trends and look for opportunities to grow;
  • You develop, implement and monitor growth plans, based on consumer, shopper & retailer insights;
  • You ensure the best possible listings & support plan for Henkel Consumer Brand innovations;
  • You act independently and pro-actively within the organization and work closely together with sales and marketing;
  • The successful implementation of our perfect portfolio strategy including innovation pipeline is a key contributor to success and is one of the key focus points.



  • Academic degree either Bachelor or Master’s;
  • Relevant working experience preferably within FMCG;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.
