STRATEGIC INSIGHTS ANALIST
POSITION
As Strategic Insight Analist you will be part of the Client Growth Delivered (CGD) department. At Circana the structure is divided in several teams with o focus on clients (consisting of Business Consultant & SIA’s), this position is based in the team of Eefje, responsible or current customers of Circana within the FMCG market. A nice and challenging portfolio with well-known manufacturers and clients in the Food & Non-Food (Personal Care). You interact with various stakeholders from the commercial departments (marketing, category management and sales) of these companies.
The title of the job might suggest that you are analyzing data all day long, but that is certainly not the case. Yes, one of your main responsibilties will be to generate insights that assist Circana, manufacturers, and clients in achieving growth. For your set of clients, you will provide a comprehensive analysis using a clear storyboard, utilizing retail data and trends from the FMCG market. Under the guidance of the Consultant, you will interpret the results to create strategic recommendations and actionable advice. But you will also be responsible for delivering the final presentation to the client, as well as proactively providing relevant insights to your customer package. Meaning that you will also visit 10-15 client in a year together and will be of great asset for both the teams as the client. In this position you will report directly to Eefje Biemans, Senior Business Consultant & Teamlead SIA.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintaining the relationship with the client together with the consultants, for example by delving into the opportunities and challenges at the client.
- Performing numerical analyses, drawing up and testing hypotheses with the aim of identifying growth opportunities for the customer based on customer questions, but also proactively.
- Independently presenting results to the client.
- Supporting the consultant in making research proposals.
- Responsible for formulating the specifications of a given project and determining the expected lead time.
- Thinking about possible improvements within the SIA team in process, degree of automation etc. to further increase the efficiency or knowledge level in the team.
PROFILE CANDIDATE
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- HBO/University education (preferably commercial and/or marketing)
- Experience in FMCG (internship) would be a significant advantage;
- Excellent command of MS-office: especially Excel and PowerPoint:
- Great command of both Dutch & English;
- Excellent PowerPoint and Excel skills.
