JR. KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER – PARTNER IN PET FOOD (PPF)

Partner in Pet Food (PPF) is an innovative, leading European pet food producer, supplying over 600 customers, including major grocery retailers, supermarkets, specialized pet shops, and veterinarians in the 40 markets in which it operates. PPF is one of the largest producers of Retailer Brand wet and dry pet food in Europe, offering a full range of high-quality cat and dog food products including dry, cans, pouches, semi moist and snacks. The share of PPF’s branded products, which include Bozita, Shelma and Reno, is also continuously increasing, with that trend expected to continue.

                                                                                                       JUNIOR KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER

POSITION

The Junior Key Account Manager works closely together with the Business Development Manager Europe and takes on a wide variety of tasks. Your main responsibility is to support the Business Development Manager Europe both externally and internally. You will be in contact with our customers directly and handle the different requests from our customers. This could be linked to new product innovations, forecast and other ad hoc requests. You will also pro-actively approach them for new business opportunities. To serve our international customers in the best way you will also be the internal project manager for our customers and have contact with Category Management, Product Development, Customer Service, Demand Planning and Finance. Thanks to this way of working and the fact you’ve multifunctional contacts you will gain a lot of knowledge and grow immensely.

This role gives you the opportunity to naturally grow into a role in either account- or category management. Accuracy and a good eye for detail are important in this job. Partner in Pet Food is looking for an eager and commercially driven starter to join the team. The ideal candidate aspires a career in sales or category management and is outgoing and proactive. Excellent communication and social skills are vital, as you have a lot of contact with various, international stakeholders. You can plan and structure your own work and excel in a fast-paced working environment. In this role you will report to Jeroen van Hecke, Business Development Manager Europe.

PROFILE CANDIDATE

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Minimal Bachelor degree, university education preferred;
  • Track record in analyzing data in Excel and working with numbers;
  • Knowledge of PowerPoint;
  • Fluent in English and German is a plus.
