The Packaly business model is made for big enterprise clients but also retail stores right around the corner. Our plug and play technology makes it possible to ship parcels fast and reliable.

POSITION

It’s good to know what kind of culture we have at Packaly. We are a startup, which means that you just need to watch all seasons of Silicon Valley and you are up to date… No, just kidding. Here are 3 examples that probably will explain our culture best:

We don’t have a 9:00 till 17:00 mentality. Our CEO starts his day at 5:30 with a run, where our CTO starts his day at 9:20 with the standup from his living room when he is working from home. We don’t mind working from home, just make sure that you don’t miss your standup meeting at 9:30 or any other meeting that is planned for your day.

It’s 16:30, Monday afternoon and the sun is doing his thing pretty well today. Time to grab some cold beers from the fridge and join the rest of the team for a quick recap of the day, the latest news or latest Netflix episodes that keep you busy at night.

Last minute appointment with a friend, need to leave the office earlier than you expected? We don’t take track of time, we just make sure our work is done on time!

Packaly already has a cooperation with several big companies, but as Head of Sales you will make this even more. You will be mainly responsible for the retail chain, medium and large clients. You will step aboard a growing company which means a lot of possibilities!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • You contribute to the fast growing position of Packaly and help us grow into new markets;
  • You lead our growth on sales and shape the department;
  • You work closely with our CEO to build our Sales Strategy and department;
  • You are the contact points for our small, medium and large clients;
  • First contact with new and current clients;
  • Follow-up and closing of (new) leads;
  • You help with improving our sales strategies and processes from new leads towards customer onboarding;
  • You make analysis of clients to see how they can grow with Packaly and increase current and new business.

PROFILE CANDIDATE

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Experience with sales towards retail companies;
  • Bachelor/Master degree;
  • Great verbal and written communication skills in English (B1 or B2);
  • Living in The Netherlands and you have a valid EU work permit;
  • Ready for a fast-paced and flexible working environment.

RELEVANT COMPETENCES

  • You have a data-driven mindset and proven problem-solving skills;
  • Experience with Hubspot and other Sales related tooling;
  • Not a 09:00 till 17:00 mentality;
  • You are inquisitive and forward-thinking – curious and thoughtful, questioning the status-quo;
  • You are very thorough and attentive to detail;
  • You have a passion for sustainability.
