                                                                    JUNIOR CUSTOMER DEVELOPMENT MANAGER


As a Junior Customer Development Manager you have a crucial role in ensuring an excellent execution of the day-to-day customer business in a complex business environment where commercial talent is an important success factor. You will be part of a young, ambitious team led by Mark Sax (Sales Manager Food). You’ll be responsible for customer coordination, customer analysis and customer and category management.


  • Be a customer coordinator for Jumbo & Superunie (including 13 Superunie members such as Dirk van den Broek and PLUS supermarkets);
  • Planning, analysis, and adapting pricing and promotions in the Colgate Business Planning tool;
  • Key-contact regarding promotions, product changes, new product launches and media advertisements for Jumbo & Superunie (members);
  • Day-to-day contact with marketing, demand planning, supply chain and other relevant departments in the organization;
  • Develop the costumer analysis tools (e.g. promo tool) to provide the commercial team with in-depth insights on how to improve the costumer net sales and margin per promotion;
  • Join the Costumer Development Manager on visits to costumers to learn ‘the art of costumer relationship building, category management and negotiating’ to eventually manage costumers independently.


  • Bachelor/ university degree with a commercial/ financial direction;
  • Experience in the FMCG industry and natural curiosity in the Dutch Retail Environment;
  • Bilingual Dutch/English.
