The Business Consultant has a critical, high-profile role within CIRCANA’s commercial team. In this position, you will be ultimately responsible for the client satisfaction level of your portfolio of clients, as well as help them further grow based on your knowledge and CIRCANA’s solutions in order to meet and exceed their targets. You do this for companies known for their innovative products and highly visible marketing campaigns to help ensure their continued success. You lead by example and serve as a passionate advocate for the client’s short-, middle- and long-term business goals by offering a ‘growth roadmap’. For instance: following trends from multiple segments in order to create potential opportunities for your clients, advice on the best set of deliverables to only offer what matters most and make sure all information and insights are consolidated, presented and are ready to be embedded successfully on all levels within the clients organization based on your consultancy skills. Within this role you will report to Joost Slagt (Head of CPG & New Business).


Client Satisfaction

  • Build and maintain both support and trust with the client; act as a trusted advisor and sparring partner;
  • Develop and maintain long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with (senior-level) client stakeholders;
  • Drive transformation at the client by accelerating growth and penetration via CIRCANA’s growth roadmap;
  • Pro-active management of client expectation and satisfaction.

Insights and Consulting

  • Leverage data and analysis to make clear and concise and compelling recommendations to clients;
  • Generate new perspectives, ideas or innovations that allow problems to be solved;
  • Link industry trends and global factors to deliver executive insights that address C-level-issues;
  • Develop internal and external reputation for expertise and drive industry thought leadership.

Coaching & Internal Stakeholder Management

  • Demonstrate strong communication and presentation skills both internally as well as externally;
  • Showcase a professional image when engaging with clients & internal stakeholders;
  • Engage and clearly communicate to cross-functional resources and clients.



  • Bachelor or Master degree (ideally with a Marketing focus);
  • Relevant work experience (FMCG, Market Research or Consulting);
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written in Dutch and English language;
  • Proven commercial acumen (in approach as well as advice to support effective client decision making);
  • Operational discipline; proven skills managing to revenue and profit targets.
