BRAND MANAGER BABYBEL & LA VACHE QUI RIT
POSITION
We are looking for a talented and creative collaborator to join our marketing team as a Brand Manager leading the brands Babybel and La Vache Qui Rit in the Dutch market. In this position you will be based in Utrecht.
Within the marketing, you will contribute to the definition of the brands innovation and activation strategy and be in charge of the full development of key projects, in order to generate additional volumes, turnover and margin. You will lead positive inno-reno projects from exploration to launch stage and be in charge of all marketing activities in strong partnership with your group brand manager and as an advocate for consumers. The Brand Manager reports to the Marketing Manager Benelux.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business dynamics: Recommend and put in place the necessary marketing activities based on data’s to develop the market share of the Brand. Contribute to the definition of business objectives;
- Brand Strategy: Understand the market and consumers to define fact-based recommendations, objectives and Strategies for the Brands;
- Activation, Innovation & integrated communication:
• Define with the Marketing Manager the annual marketing plan for the brands and lead the perfect execution of the activities;
• From Analyzing and KPIs reporting, identify planning adaptation;
• P&L identification and explanation;
• Assure the perfect launch (mix marketing) of the innovation and participate in the long term innovation strategy;
• Define the touchpoint mix, the campaigns (messages, orchestration, …) and the activation feasibility;
• Owner of the A&P (budget), define the best allocation of spending’s (ROI) to achieve the business objectives for the activations, equity building and innovation support;
• Elaborates and control the budget dedicated to brand activation; - Trade marketing / Coordination activities:
• Manage, plan, analyse and coordinate, in collaboration with Sales, the delivery of cohesive Shopper Marketing plans to ensure promotional, shopper and POS activities are aligned;
• Influence and coordinate the development of promotional and activation plans;
• Manages budget and ROI for his/her specific Trade Marketing activities;
• Undertake regular reviews of promotional performance
• Recommend annual Retail Plans.
PROFILE CANDIDATE
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Masters Degree, preferably in Marketing;
- Relevant marketing experience, preferably in FMCG / in trends definition, target identification, content localization, innovation project, activation definition and in Digital Marketing;
- You are creative, open-minded, with an entrepreneurial spirit and are a real team-player;
- Familiar with panel analysis (Nielsen, GFK);
- Experience in positive innovation management;
- Expertise in touchpoint’s requirements, potential ROI and targeting;
- Fluent in Dutch and English is essential.
