The Jr. Account Manager Retail is responsible for building the business in a sustainable way with customers within the Retail channel. The main focus of the Jr. Account Manager is to develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with Superunie members (Sligro, Boon, Hoogvliet etc) but also other interesting customers will be in scope. You will be part of the sales team and report directly to the Sr. Key Account Manager, Desiree Westhoeve.

As the Jr. Account Manager, you are in charge of the instore foreclosure of the permanent and seasonal items. Executing and optimizing promotion, develop category plans together with the customer and constantly looking for new business opportunities.  With your ownership, business insight, agility and collaborative qualities, you have the possibility to drive the business to a maximum, whilst learning to flourish in a fast moving international environment. You are able to set up new channels and brings the energy to build.


  • Develop and maintain a collaborative relationship with your customers;
  • Translate company strategies into activation plans in collaboration with the customer. Like promotions, instore and online activations;
  • Create an experience instore and online during seasonal moments like Easter, Christmas and Mothersday and other special moments;
  • Understand and implement the strategic priorities of the company at your customers;
  • Make internal recommendations to improve the company and/or your business results;
  • Partial ownership of the process from order to payment of your customer, in collaboration with a multifunctional team;
  • Involved with annual negotiations with your customers.



  • Academic/ bachelor degree;
  • Relevant sales internship at a FMCG company, preferably at A-Brand Player;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English.


  • Commercial sense, entrepreneurial and ability to develop sound opportunities to meet the needs of our customers and our business;
