The JDE E-commerce team is a young but experienced team of digital experts. They are responsible for developing the global E-commerce activities and online experience for JDE and work in close alignment with local markets and global departments. The Global E-commerce business department is currently looking for a:
GLOBAL E-COMMERCE CATEGORY MANAGER
As the E-commerce Category Manager you will be responsible create the Category Management strategy and establishing Flagship Stores on the DtC websites, G2M plans for Market places, Click&Mortar, and Pure Players. Key challenges you will face are, for example, how does JDE will be able to differentiate in the coffee landscape, how will JDE be able to reach more buyers via different online channels, what promotions should JDE run and in what way will you achieve best brand building while increasing conversion. You will have the freedom to have a significant impact on the full E-commerce channel of JDE.
You will work closely with the markets to co-create the best plan, in coordination with the local promotional activity off and online, and leverage local initiatives to make them big on our platform. In addition, you will work closely with the global marketing teams to ensure we launch new initiatives in the best way possible. The Manager of this team is Wesley Kloppenburg (Global Head of eCommerce Manager DTC), in this role you will report directly to him.
- Creating the category management strategy for the future;
- Designing, monitoring and managing promotional planning, NPD, pricing strategies;
- Set up new consumer propositions;
- Leading the category management team;
- Play a leading part in the E-commerce commercial team and manage 2+ FTE.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Master degree;
- Relevant experience, preferably Sales or Trade Marketing.
- Capable of communicating with impact (open, honest and with respect) & across different levels across the organization;
- Able to influence the organization to follow your strategy;
- Act as an entrepreneur;
- Capable of making the difference in Category Management.
